The South Korean automaker recently released the first official images of its upcoming micro SUV – Hyundai Casper. It will be the smallest SUV in the company’s global product lineup. The model will first see a release in Korea, followed by its India launch in early 2022. Here, it will be positioned against the new Tata Punch that’s due for 2021 festive season.
We have seen the real-world images of the new Casper mini SUV, which are doing rounds on the web. A latest Youtube video reveals new exterior and interior details of the vehicle.
– The video confirms that the Casper has dual-tone interior theme and white seat upholstery with blue cushions and white backrest.

– Hyundai’s upcoming mini SUV has 4-seats layout with adjustable headrests. The rear legroom appears to be decent.

– However, the dashboard of the spied model was completely camouflaged.
– If reports are to be believed, the upcoming Hyundai Casper micro SUV is likely to come with a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. The unit might be compatible to both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
– It could also be equipped with connected car technology.
Official engine details of the new Hyundai Casper mini SUV are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s reported to be offered with the 1.0L naturally aspirated and 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine options. While the former will be good enough for 76bhp, the latter will deliver power worth 100bhp. The turbo-petrol is the same unit that does duty in the Venue subcompact SUV. It could be reserved for higher trims. Both engines will be made available with a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
