2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Deliveries Begin In India

Deliveries of the newly-launched 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 have been commenced across the country. Dealers are handing over the bike to owners of its first batch. Prices of the new Classic 350 start from Rs 1.84 lakh for the entry-level Redditch Series with single-channel ABS variant and go up to Rs 2.15 lakh for the top-end Chrome Series with dual-channel ABS model. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Chennai.

The bike has witnessed comprehensive changes in terms of design, features and engine mechanism. In fact, the new-generation model has ditched the old platform for the new ‘J’ architecture. The new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 derives its power from a 349cc engine that replaces the 346cc UCE unit. It’s the same motor that does duty in the Meteor 350. Its power and torque figures stand at 20.3bhp and 27Nm respectively.

New Royal Enfield Classic 350 specs

Compared to the old engine, the new one is slightly more powerful and torqueier. The new engine has SOHC two-valve head along with the new fueling map, exhaust layout and ignition timing that result reduced vibration and better performance. The ground clearance of the new Classic 350 stands at 170mm, which is 35mm higher than before. Braking duties are done by a 300mm front disc and 270mm rear drum brake along with the single channel ABS. It’s also available with the dual-channel ABS system. Its suspension system has been carried over from the RE Meteor 350.

On the feature front, the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 offers an updated instrument cluster with an LCD featuring fuel gauge. There are two trip meters along with the updated switchgear. The Tripper navigation display comes as an option on the top-end Chrome variant. The unit uses Google Maps data to display navigation related information when connected to smartphone.
