Hyundai India has silently added a new variant to the Alcazar SUV model lineup in the country. While there is no official word on the same, a leaked scan reveals that the Hyundai Alcazar Signature (O) 7-seater petrol automatic variant is now on sale. Positioned on the top-of-the-line, the new variant has been priced at Rs 24.96 lakh. One must note that it’s the on-road Bengaluru prices. Earlier, the Alcazar petrol 7-seater option was available with the entry-level Prestige and Platinum trims that too with manual gearbox. The new Hyundai Alcazar Signature (O) 7-seater petrol automatic variant uses the 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that’s good for 159bhp and 192Nm. The SUV also comes with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel motor delivering 115bhp and 250Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit. The petrol manual and automatic return a claimed mileage of 14.5kmpl and 14.2kmpl respectively. The diesel model is more fuel efficient delivering 20.4kmpl with manual gearbox and 18.1kmpl with automatic transmission.
On the feature front, the SUV’s new top-end variant offers all goodies available on the Signature (O) trim. It includes 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, side foot step, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360 degree parking camera, leatherette upholstery, wireless charging, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, traction control modes (Snow, Sand, Mud), drive modes (Comfort, Eco, Sport), air purifier, electric parking brake, Bose audio system, powered driver seat, blind view monitor and more. Prices of the Hyundai Alcazar are currently fall in the range of Rs 16.30 lakh – Rs 20.14 lakh. While the petrol models are priced from Rs 16.30 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, the diesel variants are offered within the price range of Rs 16.53 lakh – Rs 20.14 lakh. The automatic variants cost between Rs 17.93 lakh – Rs 20.14 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
