Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has finally marked its entry into the 300-350cc modern-classic segment with the Hness CB350. Built completely from the ground up, the motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, the Honda Hness CB350 takes head-to-head against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa motorcycles. Let’s take a look at their brief specifications based comparison.
Honda Hness CB350 Vs Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Prices
Honda’s new 350cc bike has been offered in two variants DLX and DLX Pro that will be sold via the brand’s premium Big Wing dealerships. Prices of the motorcycle start from Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RE Classic 350 comes in Single-Channel ABS and Dual-Channel ABS variants and multiple colour options. Its entry-level variant has been priced at Rs 1.61 lakh and the top-end model costs Rs 1.86 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
That said, the Classic 350 is more affordable than Honda’s all-new Hness CB 350.

For power, the new Honda motorcycle uses a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox, assisted by a slipper clutch. The motor has been tuned for producing power worth 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm of torque at 3,000rpm.
Royal Enfield’s 350cc motorcycle comes with the BS6-compliant 346cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor boosted with electronic fuel injection system. Honda Hness CB350 Vs Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Mechanism
Honda has equipped its new 350cc motorcycle with telescopic forks and dual springs suspension units. Braking power comes from a 310mm disc up front and a 240mm disc rear brakes along with the dual-channel ABS. In order to ensure rider’s safety, the bikemaker offers Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system. The bike rides on 19-18-inch alloy wheels.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 has telescopic forks up front and dual spring-loaded shock absorber at the rear. Its braking system includes front and rear disc brakes along with optional single-channel and dual-channel ABS. The Classic 350 comes equipped with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear tyres.

The all-new Hness CB350 has retro design with features such as a circular headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a wide handlebar, a single piece seat and chopped fenders. You can notice lots of chrome on the headlamp bezel, fenders, engine crank case and exhaust. Elements such as alloy wheels and blacked out mirrors and handlebar give it a modern touch. The bike features full-LED headlamp and taillamp with ring-style turn indicators. There is an instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and a small LCD. The Hness CB350 offers several first-in-segment features like Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and an assist and slipper clutch. The RE Classic 350 carries classic-inspired design. Some of its design highlights include pan-head styled halogen headlamp with pilot lamps on either side, typical old-school teardrop style fuel tank, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and front and rear mud guard.

Honda’s new 350cc bike has been offered in three standard colours – Red, Black and Green along with three dual-tone shades – Blue with White, Black with Silver and Black with Grey.
The Classic 350 comes in a choice of multiple paint schemes, namely, Redditch Red, Classic Black, Pure Black, Mercury Silver, Gunmetal Grey, Stromrider Sand, Airborne Blue, Chrome, Stealth Black, Chestnut and Ash.
