Honda Hness CB350 Motorcycle Launched To Rival RE Classic 350

Honda 2Wheelers has finally launched the much-awaited neo-retro styled motorcycle in the Indian market. Called the Honda Hness CB350, the new neo-retro styled roadster motorcycle will directly rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa Classic. The new Hness CB350 is priced at Rs 1.90 lakh.

The new motorcycle will be sold through Honda Big Wing dealerships. It is also the most affordable bike to be sold through this dealer network. It was speculated to be based on the Rebel 300 cruiser motorcycle; howwever, the new Hness CB350 looks like a completely new model ground up. The new Honda Hness CB350 is designed and developed for the Indian market.

The new Honda Hness CB350 comes equipped with a circular single-pod instrument console with analogue counter and a small digital display. The instrument console has a small LCD which shows the real time mileage, average fuel economy, gear position, distance to empty and battery voltage. The instrument console also offers Bluetooth connectivity and voice control system, which supports navigation, music controls, phone calls and messages. Some of the high-end features include battery health monitor, Honda selectable torque convertor and dual channel ABS. The Honda Hness 350 comes with minimalist, bare-bones styling. It features single-round LED headlamps, dual-tone fuel tank, single low seat, etc.

The motorcycle gets simple fuel tank, subtle fuel tank and old-school simple-looking tail-piece, which gives it a classic profile. The long exhaust pipe and fenders are finished in chrome. Honda Hness CB350 is available in two variants DLX and DLX Pro. The Pro variant will come in dual-tone colour schemes and contrasting brown saddle.

Powering the new motorcycle is a 350cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 30Nm at 3,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox.

The new retro-classic Honda CB350 is based on the half-duplex cradle frame. For suspension, the motorcycle gets regular telescopic front forks and chrome-finished dual-shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the bike gets front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
