Hero MotoCorp association with Tiger Wood’s is likely to help the maker to mark strong presence in global markets. The 16th annual HWC has been organized at Isleworth Golf & Country Club, between December 3 and 7, 2014. Here MotoCorp is the official sponsers of Hero World Challenge in which, Tiger Woods, Zach Johnson and top 18 of PGA TOUR’s best players are competing for prize of $3.5 million.
Hero MotoCorp has also officially unveiled the much awaited new Hero Xtreme Sports at the event. The bike is yet to be launched in the country, which the dealers have already started taking pre-orders. If media reports are to be believed, the vehicle is likely to be priced around Rs. 80, 243 (on-road Mumbai) for base variant with front disc brakes. The top-spec model also gets rear disc brakes.
It is powered by the same 149.2cc air cooled engine that is capable of producing 15.2bhp of power (1bhp more than Hero Xtreme) and 12.8Nm of top torque. Talking about changes, the new Xtreme Sport features new headlamp unit, instrument cluster, body graphics, pilot lamps, biking fairing, etc.
