Ford Freestyle Flair Launched – 3 Colours, 2 Engines, Lots of Sporty Bits

Ford India has further expanded the Freestyle cross-hatch model lineup with the addition of a new, top-end variant. Called the Ford Freestyle Flair, the new model comes with both petrol and diesel engines priced at Rs 7.69 lakh and Rs 8.79 lakh respectively. One must note that these are introductory ex-showroom prices. Featuring a few updates inside and out, the new Freestyle variant looks sportier than other variants. You can notice the Red and Black theme across the exterior and interior. The model has a black skid plates, front bumper with red inserts, black and red ORVMs, black roof with red roof rails and newly-designed black alloy wheels. The doors have ‘Flair’ badging with black surround and red graphics. The new variant has been offered in three colour schemes – White Gold, Smoke Grey and Diamond White.

Sporty bits continue inside the cabin as well. The Ford Freestyle Flair has all-new Black and Grey upholstery, seats with ‘Flair’ badge and contrast red accents on black door handles. On the feature front, the new Freestyle variant offers the brand’s FordPass smartphone app, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, remote central locking, automatic AC unit, reverse parking camera and more. The Freestyle is the first car in its segment to offer intelligent Active Rollover Prevention along with six airbags, electronic stability control and more safety fitments. As mentioned above, the Ford Freestyle Flair comes with both 1.2L TiVCT petrol and 1.5L TDCi diesel engines. The gasoline motor generates power worth 96PS with 120Nm, the oil burner is good enough for 100PS and 215Nm. For performing transmission duties, the cross-hatch has a 5-speed manual gearbox.
