Ford Motor Company has finally launched the new Endeavour Sport variant in the Indian market. Based on the Titanium+ 4×4 trim, the new Ford Endeavour Sport is priced at Rs 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model comes with blacked-out elements, which gives it a sportier look.
In terms of styling changes, the Ford Endeavour Sport gets smoked finished headlamps and blackened skid plate. Instead of the three-slat chrome grille in regular model, the Sport variant gets glossy black finished grille with a honeycomb pattern. The darkened theme is offered on the side profile as well. The alloy wheels, roof rails and outside rear view mirrors are finished in black. At the back, the blackened treatment is added in place of the chrome and silver trim. A new Sport badge is added to the tailgate. The new Ford Endeavour Sport variant is available in 3 colours – Absolute Black, Diamond White and Diffused Silver. The changes are restricted to the exterior only, as the dual-tone scheme continues inside the cabin. In terms of features, the Endeavour Sport gets powered front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, 8-way electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seats, etc.
The SUV also gets hands free tailgate opening, panoramic sunroof, hands free parking and Ford’s Terrain Management System. For safety and security, the SUV gets 7 airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), traction control, hill launch, hill descent control and many more. Powering the new Ford Endeavour is a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 420Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox. It is claimed to be 14 per cent more fuel efficient than the previous model.
