TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched With Super-Moto ABS; Cheaper Than Honda Hornet 2.0

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V naked streetfighter with Super-Moto ABS. The motorcycle gets single-channel ABS system, which improves the stopping power and offers superior braking control coupled with the fun of sliding around the race track.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with Super-Moto ABS is priced at Rs 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it cheaper than the Honda Hornet 2.0. The Hornet 2.0 is an 184cc motorcycle priced at Rs 1.26 lakh. The new Apache 200 with Super-Moto ABS is available in two colours – Pearl White and Gloss Black.

Powering the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is a 197.75cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve and oil-cooled engine with RT-Fi technology. This engine is capable of producing 20.5PS of power at 8,500rpm and 16.8Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. It also gets the segment-first GTT – Glide Through Technology, which enhances the urban riding experience. The motorcycle also offers TVS SmartXonnect technology. It is the only motorcycle in its segment to offer dual-channel ABS with RLP (Rear Wheel Lift-Off Protection) control and RT-Slipper Clutch. Adding to it, the bike gets radial rear tyre for enhanced stability and ride quality.

Feature list includes all-new LED headlamp with claw styled position lamp, and Race Tuned-ful injection ‘RT-Fi’ technology designed to ensure an enjoyable racing experience in all driving condition throughout the engine’s life.
