New Honda HR-V SUV Coupe Could Look Like This

It is no secret that Honda is readying the next-gen HR-V aka Vezel SUV, which is rumoured to make debut in March 2021. The new Honda HR-V has recently been caught testing on foreign soil. The spy images show revolutionary design changes, as the spotted model had Coupe-like styling. In fact, the spotted model appears significantly bigger than the current model.

Based on the spy images, Digital Artist Klebar Silva has released a couple of renderings of the next-gen Honda HR-V. The new Honda HR-V imagined as the Coupe-SUV with sloping roof. The render also shows the all-new front design, which is way more aggressive than the current SUV. It gets more flat front bumper with aggressive looking upper grille with chrome bar on top, pushed back LED headlamps with DRLs merging with chrome bar to form a single unit, and glossy black finish to upper and lower grille.

Black plastic cladding can be seen all-around the body, while the ORVMs are finished in glossy black paint. The render also shows diamond cut alloys, silver roof-rails, shark fin antenna, LED tail-lamps connected with a chrome bar, and dual-ton lower bumper.

Previous media reports suggest that the new Honda HR-V will grow in size and will measure around 4.4 meters in length, which will make it a direct rival to the Jeep Compass. Not just Coupe SUV look, the next-gen HR-V will also receive a Plug-in Hybrid Version. Similar to the Fit hatch, the new Honda HR-V will get the 1.5L petrol engine with two electric motors. The hatchback achieves up to 80kmph with the use of the electric motor. For greater power, the petrol engine starts to work to transmit the rotation to the second electric motor, which is called the generation engine.
