Maruti Suzuki’s top-selling SUV – Vitara Brezza – is all set to enter into its new generation in early 2022. While the automaker is yet to confirm its launch timeline, the media reports suggest it will arrive in the month of February. – One of the biggest changes is reported to be made under the hood. The new Vitara Brezza might come with the 48V SHVS hybrid system that will be more powerful and efficient than the existing 12V unit. If it happens, the SUV’s new model will be high on fuel efficiency. The stronger hybrid system will continue to be offered with the 104bhp, 1.5L, naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine.
– While the existing 5-speed manual gearbox will continue to be on offer, the 4-speed automatic transmission could be replaced with a new 6-speed automatic unit.
– The second major update will come in the form of the Heartect platform that underpins Maruti Suzuki’s new breed cars. – As of now, details of the new 2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza are scanty. Though, the new model is likely to witness comprehensive design changes. It might get a newly-designed grille, revised headlamps and DRLs. Minimal changes are expected at the front and rear sections.
– Interior of the new Vitara Brezza might receive some advanced connected car technologies and new comfort goodies. There could be a wireless phone charging system and a digital instrument cluster. If reports are to be believed, the compact SUV could be offered with the factory-fitted sunroof and ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
– Prices of the new Maruti Vitara Brezza 2022 will surely be higher than the current generation. The latter one comes in the price range of Rs 7.61 lakh – Rs 11.10 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
