The coming weeks hold lots of excitement for the auto enthusiasts as several new cars and SUVs are ready to make their global debut. Here’re details of the upcoming new cars, which are scheduled to unveil in this month (November 2021).

Updated Hyundai Creta – 11th

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift

The new 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift will make its world debut at the GIIAS 2021 Motor Show in Indonesia. The auto event is slated to begin from 11th November 2021. The updated Creta will hit Indian shores in the second half of 2022. The SUV has received significant changes inside and out, while its engine setup will remain intact. Some of its design elements have been derived from the new-gen Tucson (especially at the front end). With the generation change, the Creta will receive the ADAS along with a 360 degree camera.

New Honda SUV – 11th

The Japanese automaker is all set to reveal the concept version of its new mid-size SUV at the GIIAS Auto Show. If reports are to be believed, the concept could be named Honda N5X and its production version will be called Honda ZR-V. The model will be designed on a new FWD (front-wheel-drive) platform and share some of its design bits with the new Honda BR-V 7-seater SUV. The new Honda compact SUV could be offered with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine or a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol motor.

Kia EV9 EV – 11th

Kia EV9, the new flagship electric car from the South Korean automaker, will have its world premiere November 11, 2021. Design and styling of EV could be inspired by the Kia Telluride SUV and it’s likely to be bigger than the Kia EV6. As of now, there is no official word on its India launch. The Kia EV9 will be built on the Honda Motor Group’s new E-GMP platform that will also be used for Hyundai’s future EVs. The architecture is compatible to RWD and 4WD powertrains. It also has 800V charging capabilities.

Skoda Slavia – 18th

Skoda Slavia Design Sketch Teased

Skoda Slavia, which is slated to unveil on 18th November, will be the spiritual successor of the Rapid sedan in India. The automaker has confirmed that its production ready model will be launched in early 2022. Based on the heavily-localized MQB-A0-IN platform, the Slavia will be offered with 115bhp, 1.0L TSI petrol and 150bhp, 1.5L TSI petrol engine options. While a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox will be reserved for the 1.0L petrol unit, a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission will be available only with the 1.5L gasoline engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox will come as standard.

New-Gen Ford Ranger – 24th

The new-generation Ford Ranger pick-up truck has been teased ahead of its global debut on 24th November 2021. It will be based on the same platform that underpins the Ford Bronco SUV. If fact, its engine might also be sourced from the Bronco that comes with the 270bhp, 2.3L, 4-cylinde turbo petrol and 310bhp, 2.7L twin-turbo V6 petrol engine options. Both motors will be paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, while a 7-speed manual transmission will be reserved for the 2.3L variants. The new Ranger Raptor is likely to come with the twin-turbo V6 motor producing power close to 400bhp. The automaker might introduce a plug-in hybrid powertrain at a later stage.

Updated Skoda Karoq – 30th

2022 Skoda Karoq Launch

The 2022 Skoda Karoq facelift will make its official debut on November 30, 2021. The SUV will be launched in global markets sometime next year. The SUV is likely to witness a few noticeable cosmetic and feature upgrades. We expect it to come with the newly-designed headlamps, revised front grille and bumpers, a new set of alloys and updated LED taillamps. Features such as the latest infotainment system, a new steering wheel and updated upholstery might be on offer. Under the hood, the new Karoq will feature the 1.5L turbo petrol and 2.0L diesel engines. The motors might have hybrid assistance as well.
