2022 Hyundai Creta Leaked; Global Debut On 11th Nov

The new 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift is ready to make its world debut on 11th November 2021 at the GIIAS Motor Show in Indonesia. Ahead of its official unveiling, the promotional images of the SUV have been leaked on the web. Most of the cosmetic changes have been made at the front end.

The new Creta carries the brand’s new parametric grille and newly-designed LED headlamps as we have seen on the new-generation Tucson.

The black treatment on the lower section of the front bumper and fog lamps with black surround further distinguish it front the existing model. Some of its other design highlights include squared-off wheel arches with black cladding, diamond cut alloys, sharply designed taillamps and revised boot lid. While the interior layout remains unchanged, the new 2022 Hyundai Creta gets a bunch of new features including a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster sourced from the 7-seater Alcazar.

New Hyundai Creta 2022 Launch

One of the major updates comes in the form the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) that includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. It could be reserved for the higher variants.

The SUV also comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity, 8-speaker Bose sound system, an air purifier, a panoramic sunroof, cooled glove box, ventilated front seats and more.

The new Hyundai Creta facelift India launch will happen in the second half of 2022. Most of the design elements and features of the India-spec model will be similar to the Indonesian version. Here, it will continue to face challenge from cars like Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor. The upcoming Honda’s and Maruti-Toyota mid-size SUV will also be positioned against the new Creta.
