Official bookings for the model have already been opened across all Nexa dealerships and online. The off-road SUV model lineup will be made available in Zeta and Alpha trims, powered by a 1.5L K15B petrol engine. The motor, with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox, pushes out a peak power of 103bhp and 134.2Nm of torque. If reports are to be believed, the Indo-Japanese automaker will unveil a new MPV in August 2023. The model will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross and go on sale during this year’s festive season. Its platform, design elements, features and powertrains will be similar to Toyota’s three-row vehicle. Though, it will look slightly different with a newly-designed grille, headlamps and front bumper. The new Maruti MPV will be the brand’s first model to come with the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The all-new 7-seater SUV is among the much-awaited new Maruti Suzuki cars planned for the coming year. Internally named as Maruti Y17, the model will be built on the Global C platform that underpins the Grand Vitara. The company’s new Kharkhoda facility on Haryana will serve as production hub for the upcoming Maruti SUV. As of now, details are scanty. The new-generation Suzuki Swift is reported to have its world premiere by May 2023. In India, the updated hatchback is likely to arrive sometime next year. With the generation change, the Swift will take a big leap in terms of design, features and efficiency. It will be built on the modified Heartect platform and come with the new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine boosted with Toyota’s strong hybrid technology. Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that its first electric car will hit showrooms sometime in 2025 (possibly in January or February 2023). It will be a SUV based on the born electric platform and co-developed with Toyota. The model will measure 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1600mm in height. It will sit on a wheelbase of 2700mm. While its specifications are still under the wraps, the EV is likely to come with a 60kWh battery pack. The model will promise a range of 550km on a single charge.
