4 Tata SUV Launches In Coming Months – Updated Models

Tata Motors plans to expand its product portfolio with a range of all-new models and update its existing models including Harrier, Safari and Nexon. The carmaker will also bring in the CNG versions of the Altroz hatchback and Punch mini SUV in near future. Let’s take a look at key details of the updated Tata SUV models, which are slated to launch in coming months.

Tata Harrier/Safari Facelifts

2023 Tata Harrier Booking

Bookings for the 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts have already been commenced in the country. Major feature upgrade will come in the form of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite. Both SUVs might also receive a new 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and a 360 degree camera. Some noticeable changes will also be made to their design. The updated Harrier and Safari, however, will continue to use the 2.0L turbo diesel engine that’s good enough for 170bhp and 350Nm. Tata Nexon Facelift

As per a fresh media report, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will arrive in the market by August. The subcompact SUV will share some of its design bits from the Tata Curvv SUV coupe concept. Most of the cosmetic changes will be visible at the front end including a new grille and headlamps positioned slightly lower, a flatter nose and more upright stance. Rumour has it that the updated Nexon could be offered with the ADAS tech. The compact Tata SUV is likely to source a new touchscreen infotainment unit from the new Harrier and Safari. For power, it will use the new 1.2L petrol (125bhp/225Nm) and 1.5L diesel engines. More details here…

Tata Punch CNG

Tata Punch CNG, which was first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, is expected to go on sale in coming months. Its powertrain setup will include a 1.2L, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. It returns power around 70bhp – 75bhp and torque close to 100Nm. It will be offered with manual gearbox only. The Punch CNG has new dual cylinder layout (each cylinder with a capacity of 30-litres) that ensure a decent boot space.
