4 New Honda Cars Launching In July, 2020

Honda Cars India has confirmed that it will launch the new-generation City sedan, WR-V facelift and BS6 Civic diesel in July, 2020. The Japanese carmaker will also bring in the BS6-compliant Jazz hatchback in coming weeks. The 2020 Honda WR-V facelift will be the first one to arrive in the market. Slated to launch on 2nd July, updated WRV will come with the BS6-compliant petrol and diesel motors paired to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual gearbox respectively.

The 2020 Honda City has been confirmed for the mid July. The new-generation model can be booked online or at any Honda dealership. The biggest change will come in the form of the new 121bhp, 1.5L twin-cam petrol engine and new CVT automatic gearbox. The sedan will also be available with the BS6-compliant 1.5L diesel engine that’s good for 100bhp. Dimensionally, the new City is bigger than the outgoing model. In fact, it’s longer and wider than the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna.

2020 Honda WRV Bookings

The BS6 Honda Civic diesel will arrive at dealerships in coming weeks. Its official bookings have already been commenced. The sedan’s diesel model will use the BS6-compliant 1.6L i-DTEC turbocharged motor pushing out a peak power of 118bhp and 300Nm of torque. The oil burner will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and come with front-wheel-drive system. The executive sedan is already offered with the 1.8L i-VTEC petrol engine returning a claimed power of 140bhp against 174Nm of torque.

The BS6 Honda Jazz will also come in the month of July. The updated model lineup will be made available with a BS6-compliant 1.2L petrol engine only. It can be had either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. The hatchback will receive subtle cosmetic changes including new LED headlamps and updated front bumper.  Inside, there might be new seat fabric, updated infotainment unit and a few new features.
