Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the Indian arm of the Japanese automaker, is getting ready to roll out three new models in the market. The Toyota Hyryder CNG and Innova Hycross will go on sale in coming weeks, while the updated Innova Crysta is expected to arrive in early 2023. Toyota Innova Hycross
Toyota Innova Hycross model lineup will be offered in 5 trims – G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O). While its prices will be revealed at the 2023 Auto Expo, its expected to cost between Rs 22 lakh – Rs 30 lakh. Powertrain setup of the MPV will include a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol (172bhp/205Nm) and a 2.0L petrol strong hybrid (186bhp with e-Drive transmission). Its strong hybrid version is claimed to offer a mileage of 21.1kmpl. The new Toyota MPV can accelerate 0 to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds. Toyota Hyryder CNG
Official bookings for the Toyota Hyryder CNG SUV have already been commenced at a token sum of Rs 25,000. The model will come with the Maruti-sourced 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a CNG kit. The same setup does duty in the Ertiga and XL6 CNG versions. In CNG mode, the motor will deliver a peak power of 88bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. With a 5-speed manual gearbox, it will return a fuel economy of 26.10km/kg. Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift
The company will update its top-selling Innova Crysta MPV sometime next year. If reports are to be believed, the new 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift could be offered with the 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired to a factory-fitted CNG kit. The CNG model will be aimed at the fleet market as well as the private buyers. The MPV’s updated version is likely to come with slightly improved design and interior. It will derive power from the 2.4L diesel engine making power worth 148bhp and 360Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be done by a 5-speed manual gearbox. More details here…
