3 New Car/Bike Launches In Next 3 Days – Expected Prices, Details

The next three days will be action-packed for the auto enthusiasts as three new products (including one bike and two new cars) are slated to launch in a row. Tata Motors is ready to roll out the updated Tigor EV with Ziptron electric powertrain on 31st August, 2021. While the new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 will arrive on 1st September, the Hyundai i20 N Line will see a release on 2nd September, 2021. Here’s a brief on the upcoming three new cars and bike.

New Tata Tigor EV

The 2021 Tata Tigor EV will be made available in three trims – XM, XZ and XZ+ dual-tone. The automaker has confirmed that the new model will come with the Ziptron technology that does duty in the Nexon EV. If reports are to be believed, the compact electric sedan will deliver a range of around 350km. Minor cosmetic changes and feature upgrades will also be made to the vehicle. The new Tigor EV will come with the newly-designed front fascia along with a few new goodies. It will be available in a Teal Blue colour scheme only. The dual-tone variant will get a contrast black roof. Prices of the 2021 Tigor EV are likely to start from Rs 9.50 lakh and go up to Rs 9.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Royal Enfield Classic 350

Royal Enfield’s popular 350cc retro-styled motorcycle is ready to witness a generation change on coming 1st September. The bike will sit on a new ‘J’ platform and feature a more refined engine, both sourced from the RE Meteor 350. That means, the new 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will use the new 349cc, single-cylinder engine making 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The motor will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. In fact, the new-generation Classic 350 will receive a wider front tyre and bigger disc brakes. The bike will be offered in 11 colour options and features such as Tripper navigation system, a new instrument cluster with LCD info panel and USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Compared to the existing version, the next-generation model is likely to be Rs 9,000 – Rs 10,000 more expensive.

Hyundai i20 N Line, the brand’s first N Line family model in India, is ready to hit showrooms on 2nd September 2021. It will come in two trims – N6 and N8 – powered by a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The gasoline unit, which is borrowed from the standard i20, makes power worth 120bhp and 172Nm of torque. There will be two gearboxes on offer – 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT automatic. In order to improve its performance and handling, the carmaker has calibrated its suspension system and updated its steering. The sportier exhaust note and disc brakes at all four corners further differentiate it from the regular model. The Hyundai i20 N Line is estimated to cost from Rs 11 lakh onwards.
