Tata Mocks Maruti Suzuki Swift For Scoring Zero Star In LATIN NCAP

Tata Motors has been recording massive sales growth in the past couple of years. Tata Motors is selling multiple cars with high crash test safety ratings. In fact, the Nexon and the Altroz are two cars with 5 start Global NCAP crash test rating. The brand’s entry-level cars – the Tata Tiago and the Tigor have scored 4 star rating in Global NCAP.

Tata Tiago’s direct rival the Maruti Suzuki Swift has failed the new car assessment program for the Latin American markets. The made-in-India Swift has received a zero-star crash test rating at latest LATIN NCAP crash test. Tata Motors is constantly mocking Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai cars for their poor crash test ratings.

The homegrown automaker took a subtle dig at the Maruti Suzuki Swift for its zero score at LATIN NCAP crash test. The company has shared a meme on its social media handles to mock the new Swift. The meme says, “Latest NCAP safety test shows that it’s not safe to ride ‘Swift’ly. Yet another reason for you to book New Tiago – the #SeriouslyFun hatchback rated 4 stars for safety by Global NCAP.”

As a reminder, the Maruti Suzuki Swift has received a 2 star safety rating in Global NCAP crash test. Earlier, Tata made fun of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti S-Presso and Maruti WagonR on poor crash test reports.
