3 Maruti Suzuki Cars To Get Generation Change In 2022

Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen its SUV market with a range of new models, which will arrive in the next 2-3 years. Besides expanding its SUV portfolio, the carmaker will update its existing model lineup by giving them mid-life updates or generation change. Maruti’s four highly popular cars are ready to enter into their new generation including Vitara Brezza, Alto, Swift and Eeco. 2022 Maruti Brezza Engine

The second-generation Brezza will go on sale in the month of June. Though, its official launch date is yet to be announced. The SUV will come with improved styling, new features and an updated engine. It will employ a new 1.5L K15C petrol engine with the 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options. The new Maruti Brezza will also be offered with the factory-fitted fuel option. Several new features will add more to its premium quotient. Maruti Eeco 10 Years

According to a fresh media report, the existing Maruti Suzuki Eeco will be discontinued and its new-generation model will arrive in August or September 2022. Minor changes are likely to be made to its exterior and interior. The new Maruti Eeco is likely to feature a power steering. Engine setup, however, will remain unchanged. That means, it could be offered with the 1.2L, 4-cylinder engine making 73bhp and 101Nm. Its petrol version delivers fuel economy of 16.11kmpl and CNG model returns 21.8kmpl. More details here…

Maruti Suzuki will give a generation change to its top-selling Alto hatchback. If reports are to be believed, the all-new Alto might enter into production by the end of June 2022. The model is likely to go on sale before this year’s festive season. The hatchback’s next-gene version will be bigger, higher and lighter than the existing one. It will be packed with some new equipment such as a touchscreen infotainment unit with the smartphone connectivity, a semi digital instrument console, engine start/stop button and keyless entry.
