Select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealers have started accepting pre-bookings for the new-generation Brezza subcompact SUV at an initial sum of Rs 5,000. Interested buyers can contact their nearest dealerships to get more information. Prices of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will be announced in the last weeks of June. The new model is likely to be priced premium over the existing version that costs between Rs 7.84 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi).
Major changes will be made to its underpinning, engine, exterior and interior. That means, the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will be a far cry from the current generation. The subcompact SUV will feature the updated 1.5L K15C petrol engine with two injectors per cylinder, thus enhancing its fuel efficiency. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Reports suggest that the new Brezza could be offered with the factory-fitted CNG kit at a later stage.
Interior of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza will witness significant changes in terms of features. There will be an all-new dashboard and a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with new SmartPlay Pro+ interface and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Features such as wireless smartphone charging, a 360 degree camera, a new instrument cluster, connected car tech and a new flat bottom steering with mounted controls will also be on-board. With respect to safety, the new Brezza will surely be much better than the existing model. If reports are to be believed, the new model will be equipped with 6 airbags, hill hold assist, hill decent assist and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Design of the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will be revised with a newly-designed grille, new headlamps, tweaked front and rear bumpers, matte black cladding, newly-designed dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels and revised taillamp clusters.
