2024 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Caught Testing – More Details

Mahindra is preparing a wide range of new SUVs including the updated versions of its existing SUVs. The company is working on the next-gen Bolero, new XUV500 and the heavily revised version of the XUV300. In fact, the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift has been caught testing on the Indian roads. The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is likely to be launched in 2024. It will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and others.

The spotted model was caught wearing heavy camouflage; however, it still reveals the heavily updated front and rear styling. Not just styling, the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift is also expected to receive significantly revised interior. However, no changes are likely to be made to the mechanics. The XUV300 facelift is still in its early stages of testing, and the spotted model features temporary headlamps and tail-lamps. It is likely to share some of the styling elements from the XUV700 or the XUV.e concepts. The SUV could get the C-shaped LED headlamps.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 will have a newly styled front fascia, featuring a new two-part grille and a larger central air intake. At the back, the updated model is likely to get a new tail-gate, a newly styled bumper with re-positioned number plate housing and new tail-lamps. Save for the new alloy wheels, the new model will retain the existing silhouette.

The cabin of the new XUV300 is likely to get all-new dashboard layout with an upgraded infotainment screen and new instrument console. The new model is also likely to get more equipment in the form of a wireless charger, ventilated seats and a digital driver display. The new XUV300 will continue to measure under 4 meters in length, while the XUV400 will be slightly longer than 4 meters.

The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to retain the existing powertrain options including the 110bhp & 131bhp, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engines, and the 117bhp, 1.5-litre turbo diesel. We believe that the updated model could get a torque convertor automatic gearbox instead of the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).
