Maruti Suzuki recently gave a generation change to the Celerio hatchback, which will soon be followed by the Vitara Brezza. If reports are to be believed, the second-generation Vitara Brezza will debut in early 2022 (possibly in the month of February). The automaker has already started testing the new model, which was recently caught on camera. The new 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza will witness a few noticeable cosmetic changes and majorly updated interior.
On the engine front, the new Vitara Brezza is reported to offer the same 1.5L K15B naturally aspirated petrol motor with the stronger 48V hybrid technology. If it happens, the SUV’s new model will be more fuel efficient than the existing one. In its current form, it pushes out a peak power of 104bhp and 138N of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic unit.
As mentioned above, the automaker will make comprehensive updates to its interior. The new 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza is likely to come with some advanced goodies including connected car technology and wireless charging. This time around, the compact SUV might receive a factory-fitted sunroof. Though, it could be reserved for the higher trims. The infotainment unit might also be new and bigger than the existing one. Most of the exterior updates are likely to be made at the front end. The new Maruti Vitara Brezza 2022 will have a newly-designed grille, revised bumper and new headlamps. Some of its other key highlights will include a new set of alloy wheels, pronounced wheel arches, upright pillars, tweaked rear bumper, taillamps and tailgate. Rumour has it that the new Brezza might switch to the Heartect platform that will make it more rigid and safer than the outgoing model.
