Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch a wide range of new models in the country. The company will soon introduce the new Baleno, Brezza and the updated Ertiga/XL6. Moreover, MSIL will launch the new Alto and an all-new mid-sized SUV before the end of 2022. The new 2022 Maruti Brezza is reportedly to be launched by April 2022.

1. All-new Interior
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will come with all-new cabin, which will be feature-loaded and significantly premium over the current model. It will come with an all-new interior theme with completely revised dashboard, a new console and instrument console. The SUV will come equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, voice recognition & navigation. The list of features also includes wireless charging system, paddle shifters and automatic AC unit.
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will also come with a factory-fitted electric sunroof. A spy image show camera bump of the front, which indicates that the new model will get a 360 degree camera.
2. High-on Safety
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will be based on the existing Global C platform, which underpins the S-Cross and the global Vitara SUV. The current model scored 4 stars in GNCAP, and the platform was found stable in the test. Moreover, the SUV could be offered with features like 6 airbags and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme). MSIL will target to achieve 5 star rating at the GNCAP for the new Brezza.
3. 6-Speed automatic gearbox
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will be powered by the same 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that powers the current model, S-Cross, Ciaz and the Ertiga. This engine produces 104bhp and 138Nm of torque. The vehicle could get a stronger hybrid system to achieve higher fuel efficiency. Instead of the current 4-speed torque convertor, the new Brezza will receive a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The new transmission will be borrowed from the global-spec Suzuki Vitara SUV. The new unit has been benefited with the advanced technology and offers a sport mode, manual shift option and added ratios.
4. CNG Option
The new Brezza sub-4 meter SUV will also be offered with CNG powertrain. The SUV is likely to sharethe powertrain with the Ertiga CNG. It will receive the 1.5L K15B petrol engine with a marginal drop in power and torque. While powering the Ertiga CNG, this powertrain offers 92bhp and 122Nm of torque. This is 12bhp and 16Nm less compared to the regular petrol variant.
The Ertiga CNG is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 26.08km/kg. It is expected that the 2022 Maruti Brezza CNG will offer higher mileage, as it is lighter than the Ertiga.
