The American automaker has revealed the new-generation Ford Everest (Endeavour in India) in its pre-production avatar via official video. Wearing “mountain peak” inspired camo, the SUV prototype goes through smooth roads and rough terrains. The new 2022 Ford Endeavour (Everest) will make global debut sometime next year.
One must note that there is no official word on its India launch. Even if it makes its way to India, the model will be brought via Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. It will make the SUV way more expensive than the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

The SUV carries boxy and upright stance. The front fascia of the new Endeavour seems inspired by the new Ranger. It features a 3D grille with vertical slat and the signature logo, C-shaped LED headlamps and a beefier bumper with silver-coloured bash late.
The side profile has been enhanced with the upright pillars, alloy wheels, roof rails and a raked windshield. The new-generation model has C-shaped LED taillamps, high mounted brake light, a roof mounted spoiler and a bigger greenhouse.
Interior might also witness significant updates. The new 2022 Ford Endeavour is expected to come with a central portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument console, connected car tech features and a large panoramic sunroof. The SUV might also be offered with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
Globally, the new 2022 Ford Endeavour (Everest) will be made available with a 2.0L, 4-cylinder twin-turbo EcoBlue diesel and a new 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine. While the former will deliver 210bhp with 500Nm, the latter will be good enough for 254bhp and 600Nm. All variants will come with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. In India, the SUV is likely to come with the same 2.0L single-turbo diesel engine offering 168bh and 420Nm.
