2022 Ford Endeavour (New Everest) To Be Unveiled On March 1 – Teased

Ford had unveiled the next-generation Ranger in mid-November 2021. The company is now ready to introduce the Ranger based new-gen Endeavour or Everest SUV. The 2022 Ford Endeavour or new Everest has officially been teased ahead of its global debut on March 1, 2022.

The new-gen Ford Everest will be based on the body-on-frame chassis that underpins the redesigned Ranger lifestyle pick-up. The company has already released the pictures of the new Endeavour prototype. The front fascia looks identical to the new Ranger, featuring a prominent mesh grille with an open bar that merges into the C-shaped headlights. The bumper has a wide air-intake and fog lamps that looks identical to those found on the pick-up truck.

The 2022 Ford Endeavour side profile looks simple with chrome strip surrounding the windows. The spy images reveal that the SUV has less pronounced wheel arches compared to the previous model. It has a relatively flatter roof and a shark fin antenna. The body-on-frame model comes with a modern rear design with newly styled LED tail-lights and a conventional tailgate.

The company hasn’t reveal the interior details or any picture. It is reportedly to share the cabin design with the new-gen Ranger Pick-Up truck. The 2022 Ford Endeavour or new Everest is expected to be equipped with a fully digital instrument console. There will be a larger 10.1 or 12-inch SYNC4 infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, navigation and voice commands. The vehicle will have minimal buttons around the central console.

The 2022 Ford Endeavour is expected to have a longer dash-to-axle ration, which will be similar to the 2022 Ranger Pick-Up. The SUV is reportedly to be offered with 3 engine options –  two diesel and a new petrol plug-in hybrid. It will also receive a new off-road focused Wildtrack X variant.

The SUV could receive a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine that produces 210bhp and 500Nm of torque. There will be a new 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that is good for 250bhp and 600Nm. It is also likely to get a 2.3-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a plug-in hybrid system, which offers 270bhp and 680Nm.
