2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Production Begins; Launch On 7th December

Volkswagen India has commenced production of the new Tiguan facelift at its Aurangabad facility. The SUV’s updated version is slated to launch on 7th December 2021. The automaker says that the new 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift “has a sharp design, enviable performance, safety and exciting new assistance features”. Based on VW’s globally known MQB platform, the 5-seater SUV has witnessed significant upgrades inside and out along with the turbo-petrol engine. With the mid-life update, the SUV has dropped the diesel engine.

The company has confirmed that the new Volkswagen Tiguan 2021 will come with the 2.0L TSI petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4MOTION technology. The 4-cylinder gasoline motor pushes out a peak power of 190bhp and 320Nm of torque. The same engine does duty in the Tiguan AllSpace.
