Skoda Slavia specs

In India, the upcoming Skoda Slavia sedan will replace the older Rapid. Compared to its replacement, the new sedan (1.0L) will be 5bhp more powerful and 3Nm torquier. Its 1.5L turbo petrol engine will be the most powerful in its segment, thanks to its cylinder deactivation technology (first-in-the-segment). The Slavia measures 4541mm in length, 1752mm in width and 1487mm in height, thus making it 128mm longer, 53mm wider and 21mm taller than the Rapid.

The wheelbase of the new Skoda sedan stands at 2651mm, which is longer than two of its arch rivals – Honda City and Hyundai Verna. It’s around 99mm longer than the Rapid. The Slavia also offers the biggest boot space in its segment – i.e. 520-litres. After the Kushaq, it will be the second Skoda car to underpin the Made-in-India MQB A0 IN platform.
