Volkswagen has revealed the upgraded Tiguan AllSpace for global markets. The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace comes with number of design and interior changes, along with added tech features. The upgraded model is also expected to be launched in India in the next 1 year.
Exterior Changes
On the outside, the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace comes with a broad grille and newly designed bumper. It gets standard LED headlamps and DRLs, and there is a single light strip that runs across the grille – flanking the VW logo in the centre. The SUV gets newly designed alloy wheels that range from 17 to 20 inches, depending on the trim level. At the back, the Tiguan AllSpace gets LED tail-lamps and new ‘TIGUAN’ lettering on the tailgate. The new Tiguan AllSpace gets two new colors – Oryx White and Kings Red Metallic.
Interior Changes
Inside the cabin, the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace gets an 8-inch Digital Cockpit instrument console as standard. (10-inch Digital Cockpit Pro available as optional). Ot also gets VW Car-Net with in-car Wi-Fi capability when consumer subscribe to a data plan. The MIB3 infotainment system is offered as standard, which supports wireless App-Connect. It also gets wireless charging.
Comfort & Convenience features include standard heated front seats, and optional heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats. It gets next-gen Climatronic touch interface for climate control, power tailgate, leather-wrapped steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, Fender premium audio and 15-colour ambient lighting.
Specifications
The new model also gets IQ Driver assistance suit, which offers front collision warning & autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian monitoring, blind spot monitor, rear traffic alert, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency assist, park assist and dynamic road sign recognition.
The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace is powered by the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TSI petrol engine that churns out 184bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic gearbox sending the power to the 4-wheels via VW’s 4Motion AWD system, is offered as standard.
