2021 Volkswagen Polo Clear Spy Images Reveal Key Changes

2021 Volkswagen Polo facelift teaser was recently released by the carmaker ahead of its global debut on 22nd April. Ahead of its world premiere, the model has been spotted with minimal camouflage revealing its design details. Painted in silver paint scheme, the updated hatchback features a new grille and sharply designed bi-LED headlamps.

Just below the headlamps, there is an illuminated LED strip running across the front grille. The rear section has also been revised with slightly updated bumper and new, squarish LED taillamps that seems inspired by the bigger VW Golf.

In other updates, the German carmaker is considering to bring in the new-generation Volkswagen Polo in the Indian market. It will be the seventh generation model based on the heavily localized MQB AO IN platform. The same architecture will underpin the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq, which are slated to arrive in coming months. While the global Polo measures 4053mm in length, its India-spec version will be trimmed down to avail tax benefits offered on the sub-4 meter vehicles.
