The 2021 Volkswagen Polo facelift was recently unveiled for the European market. The carmaker revealed the official pictures and a TVC video of the new model revealing its exterior and interior details. One must that the updated version of the Polo won’t come to India. Though, reports suggest that the German carmaker is considering the new-generation Volkswagen Polo hatchback for our market. In global markets, the new Polo facelift will be offered in four variants – Polo, Life, Style and R-Line.
Improved Design
Sporting a few noticeable cosmetic upgrades, the new Volkswagen Polo looks refreshing. The LED headlamps, which are connected by an LED light bar, seem borrowed from the VW Golf. The newly-designed front bumper, the standard 15-inch alloy wheels, C-shaped LED taillamps and revised bootlid further enhance its new look.

While the higher trims get matrix LED headlights, the 16-inch alloys with the faux quad exhaust tips are reserved for the top-end R-Line model. The tailgate has also been revised featuring ‘Polo’ moniker below the signature Volkswagen badge and LED taillamps. Compared to the previous model, the updated one is slightly longer.
4 New Colours
Globally, the new VW Polo 2021 will be made available in four new colour schemes – Rauchgrau, Ascot Gray, Vibrant Violet and Kings Red. It will continue to come in Reflex Silver, Deep Black, Reef Blue and Pure White shades.
Upmarket Interior
A larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity is exclusively offered on the top-end trim. The hatchback will also be available with 6.5-inch, 8-inch and 9.2-inch infotainment options. The system now comes with We Connect and We Connect Plus services.
