The new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa made its global debut last week. The super sport tourer is ready to hit European roads by the end of this month, which will be followed by its North American and Japan launch. Reports suggest that the bike’s new model will come to India in the second half of 2021. In fact, select dealers are reported to taking pre-orders for the motorcycle. While its launch is few months away, here’s a video revealing it is exciting exhaust sound.
The 2021 model year of the super sport tourer comes with a new, symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system that ensures better flow and an exciting exhaust note. It’s lighter with newly-designed silencers, which have been tuned to deliver a more exciting sound off idle and at lower range speeds. Interestingly, the body of the exhaust silencers changes colours/hues over time in response to the way the bike is.

Powering the new Suzuki Hayabusa is a 1340cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine boosted with fuel injection system. The motor pushes out a peak power of 190PS at 9,700rpm and 150Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The engine satisfies Euro 5 emission standards and is claimed to deliver better performance. It has inverted telescopic upfront and oil damped Link type suspension at the rear. The bike’s braking system includes Brembo Stylema front brakes and 4-piston, twin disc rear brakes. One of its key features is the advanced version of the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S) that provides the control of the bike’s performance characteristics such as engine output, acceleration and deceleration, engine and transmission operations, control over the engine at steady speeds and over braking. Some of its other key highlights are a new LED headlamp, revised rear cowl with split LED taillamps, a new TFT display and a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
