2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launched; Price Starts At Rs 1.84 Lakh

Royal Enfield has officially launched the much-awaited 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the Indian market. Priced at 1.84 Rs Lakh, the new Classic 350 comes with several changes in the form of design, features, platform and engine.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains the original retro-classic design; however, it gets some modern design elements. The motorcycle features the round-shaped halogen headlamp with chrome bezels and circular turn indicators. It gets chrome plated exhaust, round-shaped rear view mirrors, a teardrop shaped fuel tank and prominent front and rear fenders.

The new Classic 350 comes with newly styled tail-lamp and indicators. It comes with USB charging option, new pillion seat, re-positioned grab rail, etc. The pictures reveal that the bike gets upright handlebar for relaxed riding position. The fuel tank design is identical to the current model; however, it gets revised graphics. The motorcycle has new seat with better cushioning.

It is offered in 11 different colour options – Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Dark Stealth Black, Halcyon Green, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Grey, Redditch Sage Green, Desert Sand, Redditch Red, Dark Gunmetal Grey and Marsh Grey. The motorcycle features a new instrument console with a separate digital readout with fuel gauge. It also gets the Tripper Navigation System, which is developed by Royal Enfield in association with Google.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is based on the brand’s new J platform, which also underpins the Meteor 350 cruiser. The twin cradle chassis is claimed to offer improved ride quality and less vibrations. The motorcycle also shares the engine-gearbox combinations and features with the Meteor 350.

Powering the new Classic 350 is a new 349cc single-cylinder fuel injected air-cooled engine that powers the Meteor. It comes with an added counter-balancer shaft, which reduces the vibrations. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine churns out 20.2bhp of power and 27Nm of torque.

New RE Classic 350 Instrument Console

Suspension mechanism comprises of 41mm telescopic front forks and twin gas charged at the rear. For braking duties, the bike gets 300mm front disc and 270mm rear disc brakes. Both single and dual-channel ABS system are offered. It rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels shod with 100/90 and 120/80 section tyres respectively. In terms of proportions, the bike is 2,145mm long, 785mm wide and 1,090m tall. It has a seat height of 805mm, while the ground clearance stands at 170mm. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 195kg, while the fuel tank has 13L capacity.
