2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo will be the next big launch from the home-grown carmaker in the country. It’s reported to hit showrooms in the month of September. Ahead of its official launch, the variant details of the model have been emerged on the web. As per the leaked information, the Bolero Neo SUV model lineup will be available in three variants – N4, N8 and N10. While the entry-level variant is estimated to cost around Rs 8.5 lakh, the mid-level and top-end trim might be priced at Rs 9.50 lakh and Rs 11 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). Under the hood, the new Mahindra compact SUV will employ a 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine meeting the BS6 emission standards. It’s the same oil burner that did duty to the TUV300. It has been tuned for producing a peak power of 100bhp and 240Nm of torque. The Bolero Neo might come with its differently tuned version.
Minimal changes are likely to be made to its front fascia. The SUV could feature a revised bumper, new radiator grille and redesigned headlamps. The new set of alloy wheels and slightly updated spare wheel cover will further mark a difference to its portfolio. Interior of the new 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo could be updated with a new touchscreen infotainment system. The unit is likely to come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The compact SUV might receive a newly-designed dashboard along with the automatic AC unit and new seat upholstery. The rest of the features will be carried forward from the TUV300.
