Mahindra XUV700 Personalised Safety Alert System – Teaser Video

Mahindra & Mahindra has dropped yet another teaser video of its upcoming XUV700 7-seater SUV. The teaser reveals that the SUV will come with the personalized safety alerts. It alerts you if you overspeed that too in a customized voice of your loved one. The carmaker has already confirmed that the Mahindra XUV700 will feature Auto Booster headlamps that activate as soon as the vehicle crossed the speed limit of 80kmph in the dark. The system automatically turns on the extra lights ensuring better visibility and safety.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 will be equipped with Level 1 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It includes features such as adaptive cruise control, drowsiness detection, blindspot detection, autonomous emergency braking and lane-keep assist. It also reported to be packed with a 3D panoramic vision for driver, autonomous braking system and an eyelid tracking mechanism. The new three-row SUV from Mahindra will offer the segment’s largest panoramic sunroof. Though, it could be reserved for the higher trims.

The XUV700 will be the first vehicle in its category to feature dual-display setup inspired by Mercedes-Benz. The display will work as infotainment system and instrument cluster. Being a flagship model, the SUV will also be equipped with several advanced goodies including wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake with Auto hold, keyless entry, push start/stop button and more.

Mahindra XUV700 SUV

In terms of engines, the Mahindra XUV700 will offer the segment’s most powerful motors. Its petrol model will use the new 2.0L turbocharged unit that’s good for 200bhp. The diesel version will employ a 2.2L mHawk turbo engine making power close to 185bhp. Both motors will be available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options. It will be offered in 6-seats and 7-seats configurations.

The new Mahindra three-row SUV will be put up against the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and the newly-launched Hyundai Alcazar. Its prices are likely to be announced in August 2021. The production-ready XUV700 might debut in coming weeks.
