On coming 15th July, Mahindra & Mahindra will announce prices of the 2021 Bolero Neo subcompact SUV. Deliveries of the model will begin immediately after its price announcement. While the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed its details, the latest spy images show noticeable design changes and feature upgrades made to the vehicle. The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo, which is updated version of the TUV300, features the same dual-tone Beige and Black interior theme. Read – Mahindra Thar Gets Its Biggest Price Hike Since Launch
The compact SUV comes equipped with the upgraded infotainment system that’s likely to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The dual-tone steering wheel and beige seat upholstery with diamond quilting further differentiate it from the outgoing TUV300. You can notice the brushed silver accents on dashboard and door pads. It continues to offer the 7-seats configuration with two side-facing bench seats behind the middle row seat.
Major design updates have been made at the front end. The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo has smaller, newly-designed headlamp clusters with integrated DRLs. The front grille now features six slats and the bumper has also been revised. The trapezoidal air dam, which are flanked by angular fog lamp clusters, are wider than before. Save for the newly-designed alloy wheels, the side profile of the compact SUV remains unchanged. At the back, the Bolero Neo sports a slightly tweaked bumper. The wraparound taillamps and tailgate mounted spare wheel with wheel cover, however, remain intact.
At the heart of the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo will be the same 1.5L mHawk turbo diesel engine with 5-speed manual (standard) and 5-speed AMT (optional) gearboxes. However, the motor has been updated to meet the BS6 emission standards. It will produce a peak power of 100bhp and 250Nm of torque. No changes will be made to its suspension and braking mechanism. Similar to the outgoing TUV300, it will be based on the ladder-on-frame chassis.
