2020 Toyota Fortuner Facelift Might Look Like This

2020 Toyota Fortuner Rendered

We have reported earlier that Toyota will give a mid-life update to its top-selling Fortuner SUV. The facelifted model will see a release by the end of this year. Currently, the 2020 Toyota Fortuner facelift is in its testing phase and one of its prototypes was recently caught on camera on the foreign land. While its official launch is months away, a digital rendering gives us a fair idea about its revised exterior styling.

The rendering shows a completely revised front fascia of the SUV. The new LED headlamps look similar to the updated Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Upfront, the vehicle also gets a new radiator grille, a revised bumper and rectangular fog lamp assembly. Save for the newly-designed alloy wheels, the side profile remains unchanged. The facelifted model also gets revised LED taillamps.

Globally, the Fortuner is offered with multiple petrol and diesel engine options. The oil burner range includes a 2.4L diesel, a 2.8L diesel and a 3.0L diesel unit, while the petrol motors range from 2.7L to 4.0L. In India, the 2020 Toyota Fortuner facelift will come with the BS6-compliant 2.8L turbo diesel engine that could be more powerful than its BS4 version. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
