2020 Hyundai Tucson Lunched – Price List, Key Changes

2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift has finally been launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 22.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India). The updated SUV model lineup comes in five variants spread across two trims – GL (O) and GLS. Prices of the petrol variants start from Rs 22.30 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 23.52 lakh. The facelifted Tucson primarily takes on the Jeep Compass, MG Hector and Honda CR-V. The company is offering special customer care (first-in-segment) with the new Tucson that includes 3 years warranty (30,000km free maintenance, BlueLink and map subscription and roadside assistance) and up to 5 years warranty (3 years/ unlimited km or 4 years/60,000km or 5 yeaars/50,000km).

2020 Hyundai Tucson Specs

The updated Tucson receives BS6-compliant powertrains along with an all-new automatic gearbox. The SUV has been offered with the BS6 versions of the 2.0L naturally-aspirated petrol and 2.0L turbo diesel engines. Both motors get torque converter automatic gearboxes as standard. While the diesel is now available with an all-new 8-speed automatic gearbox, the petrol continues to come with a 6-speed unit. All-wheel-drive (AWD) system is exclusively offered with the top-end GLS diesel variant.

Minor design changes have also been made to the SUV. The 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift carries the brand’s new cascading grille along with the newly-designed headlamps and revised bumper at the front end. One of the biggest updates made to its interior is Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity suite with a new free-standing 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard has also been redone. The revised centre console, new AC vents, a wireless charger, an 8-way electrically adjustable passenger seat and a panoramic sunroof are new additions to the feature list.
