2020 Honda WR-V facelift has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated model lineup comes in two trims – SV and VX – powered by BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines. The SV and VX diesel variants, on the other hand, are priced at Rs 9.79 lakh and Rs 10.99 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. In this price range, the WRV facelift continues to take on the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. The upcoming models such as Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Kia Sonet will also give a touch challenge to the 2020 Honda WRV.

The fascia has been revised with a new chrome grille, LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs and position lamps, new LED fog lamps and an updated bumper. Minimal changes have also been made inside the cabin. The 2020 Honda WRV receives new seat upholstery with Emboss&Mesh design and additional chrome accents, enhancing its new look. The vehicle also gets an updated Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity. The unit also support voice command feature, navigation system, Bluetooth handsfree telephony and audio and wireless infrared remote.
Most of the features have been carried over from the previous model including electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, reverse camera, keyless entry and go, steering mounted controls, remote and central locking, driver seat height adjust, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear washer and wiper, electric retract wing mirrors. The 2020 Honda WR-V petrol model uses a BS6-compliant 1.2L motor generating power worth 90bhp against 110Nm of torque, and the diesel variant comes with a BS6-ready 1.5L unit returning a maximum power of 100bhp and 200Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across the model lineup. While the petrol variant is claimed to deliver a mileage of 16.5kmpl, the diesel model promises 23.7kmpl.
The 2020 Honda WR-V comes in a choice of 6 colour options: Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. The company is offering a 3 years Unlimited Kilometres warranty as standard. Additionally, customers can opt for Extended Warranty for additional two years Unlimited / Limited kilometres. The car offers low cost of maintenance with service interval of 1 year/ 10,000km whichever is earlier and the 3-year Annual Maintenance Package at the time of car purchase with an average cost of Rs. 4,000 for Petrol and Rs. 6,000 for diesel per year.
