The South Korean automaker is ready to give a mid-life update to its two highly popular SUVs – Venue and Creta. While the new Hyundai Venue facelift is likely to arrive by mid 2022, the 2022 Hyundai Creta will debut in November in Indonesia and hit Indian roads towards the end of the next year. Both models will witness noticeable cosmetic and feature upgrades. Engine setups, however, will remain unchanged. Here’s a brief on the upcoming Venue and Creta facelifts.

The updated Hyundai Venue is currently in its initial testing phase in South Korea. The model is likely to feature new-generation Tucson inspired front design featuring a new parametric grille and new rectangular shaped headlamps with LED DRLs. Other updates might include tweaked front and rear bumpers, new alloys and revised taillamps. Inside, it’s likely to get a new colour scheme and upholstery. As mentioned above, the new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will continue feature the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. The SUV model lineup will come with the 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, iMT and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox options.

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift

The new Hyundai Creta 2022 will carry the brand’s Sensuous Sportiness design language with completely revised front fascia. Similar to its younger sibling, it will share some of its design elements with the new Tucson including the rectangular shaped headlamps, LED DRLs, tweaked bumper, new fog lamps and faux skid plate. If reports are to be believed, the updated Creta could be offered with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), a 360 degree camera and Head-Up-Unit (HUD). Powering the SUV will be the same 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. Transmission duties too will be carried by the same 7-speed DCT automatic, 6-speed torque convertor automatic and 6-speed manual units.
