Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch the Ciaz mid-sized sedan in the third or fourth week of September. The vehicle was first showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. To be known as the Suzuki Alivio in several international markets, the Indian version will be called the Ciaz and will replace the Maruti’s not-so-successful SX4 sedan in India. The production of the car has already begun at company’s Manesar facility, and pre-bookings are likely to start by the end of this month. The sedan will be available in three trim levels – Vxi, VXi+ and ZDi in both petrol and diesel guise.
