I am planning to book Baleno Alpha Petrol. I checked some reviews online between baleno vs i20 vs Jazz. Where I find,Baleno got 5 point and others got 8 & 9 points on braking system. Is there is any problem in braking system of Baleno.

    • Editorial Team

      Editorial Team
      June 19, 2016

While the i20 and Jazz’s brakes have that sudden bite, the Baleno’s are rather progressive. And it’s more about getting used to of a vehicle, there’s no issue with the brakes as such. It’s more about the nature of brakes. To get a better idea of it, take the test drive of the vehicle.

The Baleno is one of the safest hatchbacks in the country. And you should not worry about the weight of the car, as that’s not the sole parameter in the overall safety of the car. Most modern cars these days are less in weight but are much safer due to better quality components (which are low on weight). The low weight results into better performance and higher fuel efficiency. As far as the suspension is concerned, the Baleno handles almost all sorts of regular potholes and undulations with quite ease.

suspension is big problem. I have used the car from last four months but its a mess for the rear passenger if the drive is over an hour. even a small to hole gives you strong jerk. be careful…. I have shown this to multiple people from maruti team, nobody is willing to change or provide a solution as they call this manufacturing problem.

      Hi Poonam

We suggest you to drive Baleno in the range of 60kmph to 100kmph.
