BS6 Toyota Fortuner Prices Increased By Rs 48000
The BS6 Toyota Fortuner is now available in the price range of Rs 28.66 lakh to Rs 34.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota had launched the BSVI compliant Fortuner in the country on February 10, 2020. It was launched at Rs 28.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the prices were unchanged when compared to the BS4-compliant Fortuner. In the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, Toyota has raised the prices of the Fortuner BS6. The BS6 Toyota Fortuner is now available at a price tag of Rs 28.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Prices of the BS6 Toyota Fortuner have now increased by Rs 48,000. The petrol version is available in 2 variants – 4×2 MT and 4×2 AT – priced at Rs 28.66 lakh and Rs 30.25 lakh respectively. On the other hand, the diesel version is offered in 4 variants – 4×2 MT, 4×2 AT, 4×4 MT and 4×4 AT – priced between Rs 30.67 lakh and Rs 34.43 lakh.
The Toyota Fortuner is available with 2 engine options – a 2.7-litre, 4-cylinder petrol and a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 164bhp of power at 5,200rpm and 245Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. Transmission choices include a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. On the other hand, the oil burner produces 175bhp at 3,400rpm and 420Nm of torque with manual gearbox (450Nm with AT). Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The company is also readying the facelift version of the Fortuner SUV, which is scheduled to be unveiled in Thailand on June 4, 2020. The new model will be launched in our market before the end of this year, around Diwali. Apart from the design changes and feature upgrades, the new Fortuner will receive a more powerful version of the 2.8L turbo-diesel engine. The upgraded version will offer power output of 204bhp and a peak torque of 500Nm.
