2020 TVS Star City Plus BS6 Teased Ahead of Launch
TVS Motor Company is ready to bring in the updated Apache RR 310 with BS6-compliant engine on 30th January, 2020. Besides this, the Chennai-based bikemaker will also launch a new product on coming 25th. While the company hasn’t yet revealed the model name and details, it’s likely to be the 2020 TVS Star City Plus BS6.
The bikemaker has released a teaser video of the 2020 TVS Star City Plus BS6 commuter revealing its front fairing and LED headlamp. As of now, the details of the new model are scanty. 2020 TVS Star City Plus BS6 Teaser
Currently, the TVS Star City Plus comes with a BS4 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired to a 4-speed gearbox. It delivers a maximum power of 8bhp and a peak torque of 8.7Nm. Similar to the existing model, the 2020 TVS Star City Plus BS6 is likely to be fitted with the telescopic shock absorbers and five step adjustable shock absorbers at the front and rear axles respectively.
Talking about TVS’ future plan, the bikemaker is planning to foray into electric space with an all-new scooter based on the TVS Creon concept that was previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo. Recently, the prototype of the electric scooter was caught on camera during its test rounds. It’s launch details are still under the wraps.
