2020 Tata Nexon Facelift To Share Design With Nexon EV

New Tata Nexon

Tata Nexon EV, the first electric SUV from the home-grown carmaker, will make its debut on 16th December, 2019. Ahead of its official unveiling, the carmaker has released multiple teaser videos of the vehicle showing its features and capabilities.

While the teased Tata Nexon EV is based on the pre-facelift model of the subcompact SUV, its final version will preview the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift. The updated regular model and electric iteration of the Nexon will share most of the design bits and components.

Tata Nexon EV Range

Significant aesthetic changes will be made to the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift. The SUV will feature a slimmer grille similar to the Harrier, new headlamps with DRLs, revised fog lamps, newly-designed alloy wheels and slightly revised rear section.

Inside, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift might get a new digital instrument cluster and a steering wheel inspired by the Altroz premium hatchback. There could also be a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and voice recognition feature.

Tata Nexon Electric Features

The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift and Tata Nexon EV could debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. Both models will see a release early next year. The electric iteration of Tata’s subcompact SUV will take head-to-head against the Mahindra XUV300 electric that might hit roads by mid 2020.
