– All-new Interior
The new-generation Hyundai Grand i10 will come with an all-new interior, which is expected to be shared with the new Venue compact SUV. The new model will be equipped with a large free-standing 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The hatchback is also expected to receive the new Hyundai Blue Link connectivity solution.
– New platform
The next-generation Grand i10 will be based on the existing Santro’s platform, which is compliant with upcoming crash test norms.
– Only Petrol
The next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 will be powered by a BSVI compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 115Nm of torque. The company is also planning to introduce the performance oriented 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine in the new model. This engine is likely to produce around 100bhp and 172Nm of torque.
– AMT Gearbox
The new-gen Hyundai Grand i10 will be the brand’s second model to feature the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) unit. The current model is available with a 4-speed torque convertor.
