Priced at 38 lakh, the Indian Chieftain Elite uses a 1,811cc Thunderstroke 111 V-twin motor that’s good for 161.6Nm.

Indian Motorcycle has introduced the range-topping variant of the Chieftain range motorcycle in the Indian market. Called Indian Chieftain Elite, the new model has been priced at Rs 38 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, only 350 units of the Indian Chieftain Elite has been produced and retailed in the global markets. In India, we will receive a few units of the motorcycle. At the heart of the Indian Chieftain Elite is a 1,811cc Thunderstroke 111 V-twin motor that makes a maximum torque 161.6Nm at 3,000rpm. Braking mechanism of the Indian Chieftain Elite includes twin, 300mm discs and a single, 300mm disc at the front and rear axles respectively. The suspension system consists of 119mm, telescopic fork upfront and 114mm, single shock with air adjust at the rear.

Indian Chieftain Elite is the top-spec variant of the standard Chieftain that comes with pack of advanced features. For high-end connectivity, the bike offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting smartphone apps, USB and AM/FM radio. The classic cruiser also gets adjustable passenger floorboards built of aluminum billet. The leather seats give it a premium feel. Features such as cruise control, remote-locking saddlebags, keyless start, flare power windshield, antilock braking system (ABS), 16-inch rear tyre and a highway bar are also on offer.
