Maruti Suzuki India has silently updated its Alto 800 lineup by introducing a new VXi with airbag variant in the country. The VXi airbag variant of Alto 800 is priced at Rs. 3.31 lakh for Non-Metallic paint and Rs. 3.35 lakh for the Metallic paint, both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The country’s largest carmaker has also updated its official site. An additional cost of Rs. 18,318, you will get an airbag in the car, however all the features remain the same.
The Maruti Alto 800 VXi comes equipped with power windows for all four-doors, central locking, left side rear view mirror, rear spoiler, drive side airbag and some other features over the LXi variant. Under the hood, the Alto 800 has a 796cc petrol engine that develops 48bhp and 67Nm of top torque. The engine transmits the power to front wheels via a five speed manual transmission.
