German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz will unveil the new B-Class facelift at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The second generation B Class was launched at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. This model made its debut in India in 2012; however, the diesel model was launched in 2013.
The facelift B-Class will go into production prior to the Paris Motor Show showcase and is likely to go on sale in Europe by the end of this year. The vehicle gets minor updates which include new headlight graphics, a prominent grille and restyled front bumper. At the back, the B-Class features new taillight graphics, rear bumper and exhaust design. The interiors changes are yet to be revealed; however, we expect it to get some minor upgrades as well.
Mechanically, the facelifted B-Class is likely to remain untouched. In India, the vehicle is offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is expected to be powered by a 1.6-litre engine producing 120bhp, the oil burner has 2.2-litre engine that produces 107bhp.
