Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch the facelift version of Swift Dzire and the Swift hatchback. The Dzire facelilft, reportedly, entered into the production. The Gaadi Waadi has managed to click the top-end variant of the compact sedan during the parking at the company’s manufacturing unit, Manesar. This hatchback is reported to go on sale in the Indian car market by the festive season or by year end.

The Swift Dzire facelift gets changes to both exteriors and interiors. The vehicle would feature a newly designed 10-spoke alloy wheels and tinted headlamps. The fog lamps enclosure now gets chrome enhancement. It is also likely to get new front fascia with new chrome grille and a tweaked rear bumper without reflectors. Inside the cabin, the Swift Dzire is likely to get additional features such as push button start, keyless entry, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, etc.

The Maruti Swift Dzire compact sedan will continue to be powered by the same petrol and diesel fuel options. The gasoline version of the sedan gets the 1.2-litre K-Series unit that produces 85bhp and 114Nm of top torque. Its oil burner is the 1.3-litre multi-jet motor that develops 74bhp and 190Nm of top torque. Both the engines are paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the petrol version would also get a 4-speeed automatic gearbox.
